Yields 10 people

For the Citrus Syrup (yields 750ml)

300ml recently pressed clementine juice
200ml newly squeezed lemon juice
500g caster sugar

To make the Cocktail (yields 850ml, to serve 10)

400ml premium vodka
100ml classic gin
150ml peach-flavored liqueur
200ml citrus syrup (see above)
Fresh cranberries, as a garnish
Mandarin essential oil, as a final touch

Directions

For the Cordial: Put the listed components in a pot, bring to a light boil, mixing so the sugar melts. After that, take off the burner and leave to cool down fully. Pour into an sterilised bottle, seal and store in the refrigerator, it can be stored for around four weeks.

For the Premix: Pour the specified liquids into one sizeable container, let it rest for one hour, then strain best through cheesecloth, so it's perfectly clear.

To serve: Add 85ml of your cocktail base to a cocktail shaker packed with ice, and agitate carefully for one minute to cool it down. Strain to a cold coupe glass or a similar vessel, top with a few cranberries and complete it by giving it a light spray of mandarin oil over the drink.
